Building Guitar Amp Speaker Cabinets

In my recent holidays i wanted to tinker a little bit and so i decided to build my own 1 12 guitar speaker cabinet.

This will leave sufficient headroom above the side by side 10 inch speakers to mount the filmosound on a sliding shelf much like vox did with vintage ac30 combos.

Many guitar speaker cabinets do not have a back but this can decrease the sound. As guitar speakers are different so their cabinets are different. You can find purpose built hardware like corner guards handles and similar or you can go with a diy approach. It was only for the pine enclosu.

As you might know i m really into guitars and guitar equipment right now. In terms of diy guitar amp cabinet hardware you have a variety of choices. This is my unconventional way of building a custom boutique style 1x12 guitar cab out of a deep brood bee keeping honey box. The box design is acoustically less critical than that for hi fi or pa systems but proper construction is essential.
